HVA welcomes new Principal - Deborah Trevino
Highland View Academy has a new principal . Deborah Trevino (nee Pacheco ’88) has accepted the position and is already at work making ready for the transition from San Antonio, Texas, where she works for Northwest Vista College. Faculty and board members alike are excited about the possibilities her leadership brings for the future. “Mrs. Trevino has a rich background in both the private/public sector and brings to this position a wealth of leadership ability,” says conference president and HVA board chair, Rob Vandeman, “as well as excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.” “She is a strong proponent of strategic planning as well as a passionate supporter of youth ministry,” he continued, “and fully embraces HVA’s motto of ‘Educating for
Eternity.’” In her own words she concurred with that assessment stating “all
other purposes matter little.”
